The University of Toronto and our hospital partners are working closely together to optimize the management of the Coronavirus concerns across our system. Please continue to check U of T's main page on Coronavirus as the source for university-wide updates.
While health officials note the risk of contracting the virus remains low, the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy wants to ensure that learners and faculty in the hospitals are kept safe and patients are kept safe while learners and faculty are performing their duties. We also want to ensure our educational programs continue as best as possible.
We are advising all pharmacy students in both Direct Patient Care (DPC) and Non-Direct Patient Care (NDPC) rotations uphold their professional obligation and comply with hospital requirements related to infection prevention and control. We are also sharing information with our TAHSN/HUPEC partners, and U of T’s Council of Health Sciences Deans. We will continue to provide updates on this page throughout the period of concern.
