As part of the University of Toronto’s commitment to being “an internationally significant research university, with undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs of excellent quality,” the University conducts formal reviews of faculties, departments, and programs on a regular basis.
During the 2018-2019 academic term, the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy participated in the University of Toronto Quality Assurance Process (UTQAP) – a program developed and administered by the University (under the jurisdiction of the Ontario Universities Council on Quality Assurance) to measure the Facutly’s programs and strategic direction within the framework of the University and against international peer institutions. Through this review, our scholarship, research, and programs were compared to leading pharmacy programs.
This process involved conducting a self-study and an external review conducted by three external reviewers, which resulted in a findings report.
