At a pivotal moment for research and science in Canada and around the world, I am pleased to introduce this research report from the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto. As rapidly emerging technologies influence how we conduct research, educate the next generation of scientists and health professionals, and meet society’s changing health care needs, this report offers a timely reflection on who we are as a research community and where we are headed.
This report is a snapshot of the extraordinary research happening at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy and highlights a research community that is advancing rapidly, collaborating thoughtfully, and remaining focused on impact. I am proud of the work presented here, recognizing that there are many exciting projects beyond what could be highlighted in these pages, and grateful to the faculty, trainees, staff, and partners whose collective efforts continue to move science and health forward.
