2026 Fall Session

September 8, 2026: Most formal graduate courses and seminars begin
September 23, 2026: Final date to add full-year (Y) and Fall (F) session courses
October 26, 2026: Final date to drop Fall (F) session courses without academic penalty

2027 Winter Session

January 6, 2027: Most formal graduate courses and seminars begin
January 18, 2027: Final date to add Winter (S) session courses
February 26, 2027: Final date to drop full-year (Y) and Winter (S) session courses without academic penalty

2027 Summer Session

May 10, 2027: Final date to enrol in May-to-June or May-to-August session courses
May 31, 2027: Final date to drop May-to-June F section courses without academic penalty
June 28, 2027: Final date to drop May-to-August session Y section courses without academic penalty 
July 5, 2027: Final date to enrol in July-to-August courses
July 26, 2027: Final date to drop July-to-August S section courses without academic penalty

*Modular courses (e.g. 0.25 FCE) have non-standard schedules and add/drop deadlines.

Taking courses outside the Department?

You must obtain appropriate approval prior to enrolling in the course. Please complete and submit the SGS Add/Drop Course(s) Form to phm.grad@utoronto.ca.
