Shaping Student Life and Learning (SSLL) was established through the generous annual donations of alumni, industry, friends, faculty and staff of the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. Each year, SSLL funds are available to students at the Faculty in support of various activities that enrich the student experience outside the classroom.
A limited number of awards are available for funding individual students who apply during the funding year, May 1st to April 30th. A review committee assesses applications periodically, awarding funds based on the most current guidelines and available budget.
The 2025-26 SSLL Award Application is now available. Only applications using the online for will be assessed. Please read through the 2025-26 FAQs and Award Guidelines prior to submitting your application.
**NEW** Applications for International APPE rotations, regardless of when the APPE rotation takes place, are due by Monday, August 11, 2025, at 9am ET. This is the only SSLL award with a firm application deadline. All other SSLL applications are assessed in the order in which they are received.
Please note that funding is made available only after the activity has occurred and a final report has been received. Students are eligible for only one grant per year, and Graduate students are limited to a maximum of $2000 for the duration of their program.
