Volunteer Opportunities and Recognition
Volunteering
There are several ways that you can give back to the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy and its programs. As we move science and health forward together, our current and future students can benefit from the knowledge, experience, and insight that you can provide having blazed the trails of innovation and practice excellence before them.
If there are other ways you would like to be involved that are not listed below, please contact the Office of Advancement and Alumni Relations.
PharmaSEE Mentorship Program
The PharmaSEE Mentorship Program: Explore your Future provides PharmD and PharmD for Pharmacists students at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy the opportunity to ‘Seek, Experience and Explore’ in preparation for the transition from student life to professional life. The program assembles alumni mentors with vast professional experiences to facilitate guidance and insights, supporting mentees through a one-on-one relationship.
For more information, please visit the PharmaSEE Mentorship Program page.
Young Alumni
Our young alumni are supported by a committee made up of alumni from the last decade. The Young Alumni Committee supports relevant and meaningful programs and services for young alumni while encouraging lifelong participation and philanthropic support.
For more information, please contact the Office of Advancement and Alumni Relations.
Preceptors
The Preceptor program works with preceptors from a wide variety of practice sites to offer students experiential learning rotations after their first year (Early Practice Experience or EPE-1), after their second year (EPE-2) and throughout their final year (Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience or APPE).
