The Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy is proud to educate some of our country’s top pharmacists through our PharmD and PharmD for Pharmacists programs. To ensure our students have the best possible experiential education opportunities, we created the Preceptor Development Program to educate the preceptors who teach in our programs.
Effective preceptors demonstrate a strong combination of interpersonal, clinical, and teaching skills. Our Preceptor Development Program provides preceptors with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to supervise pharmacy students during their Early Practice Experience (EPE) and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotations.
Required and optional learning modules are available as online and in-person workshops.
Topics include:
-
