Drug Development and Disease Diagnostics

The Li lab combines pharmaceutical sciences with biomaterials, bioengineering and immunology to build nonviral delivery systems for nucleic acids including mRNA, siRNA, and CRISPR-Cas9. The overall objective is to develop novel nucleic acid-based vaccines and therapeutics for a range of human health applications including vaccination, immunotherapy, and regenerative medicine.
