Discovery Pharmacy immerses students in an experiential, hands-on learning environment where teaching, research and practical experience coincide.
The Discovery Pharmacy will reinforce the importance of connecting teaching and learning with research and practice innovation for students. As one of over 400 experiential education sites offered to Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy students, the Discovery Pharmacy will provide both direct patient care and non-direct patient care experiential learning opportunities for pharmacy students.
Our activities will enable students to engage in a rich, multidisciplinary education that ensures entry-to-practice readiness, the development of delivery innovations locally and internationally, and opportunities to offer the full scope of pharmacy practice, benefiting patients today and in the future.
Our shared goal is to enhance the student experience and advance education and research for pharmacy practice and medication management innovation in health care delivery. Ultimately, these efforts will help people around the world to manage and get the best out of their medicines, to enhance their health, wellness, and productivity.
