The successful candidate will fulfill the role of a Pharmacist within the Department of Pharmacy.
The pharmacist will provide pharmaceutical care to patients within a clinical team/service in addition to scheduled shifts in the dispensary. Reporting to Winnie Seto, Senior Manager, Department of Pharmacy
Here Is What You Will Do:
- Work with the interdisciplinary team to prevent and manage a wide variety of complex drug therapy problems
- Optimize drug therapy for patients with complex medical issues
- Provide drug information to members of the interdisciplinary team
- Contribute to projects and quality improvement activities
- Audit prescriptions and supervise dispensing activities while staffing the dispensary
Here Is What You Will Need:
- Eligible to practice as a pharmacist in Ontario with active registration (Part A) with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and motivated with excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent clinical, written and verbal communication skills
- Hospital pharmacy residency certificate is preferred
- Previous hospital experience is preferred
- Paediatric experience is preferred
- Demonstrated commitment and actions in advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion objectives
