Located in Ottawa's Chinatown, we are looking for a licensed Pharmacist who is compassionate and dedicated to providing high level service to our clients. Our clients mainly include Vietnamese and
English-speaking clients. The position offers flexibility in terms of working hours, allowing the ability to work full hours or adjust based on their availability.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense and review prescription medications accurately and efficiently; Compliance with legal and professional regulations regarding the dispensing of medications; Collaborate with pharmacy
assistants to manage the workflow and ensure smooth operations; Provide advice and counseling to patients regarding medications, potential side effects, and interactions; Utilize Kroll system to
process prescriptions and manage patient profiles.
- Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Flexibility in scheduling
- Works well in a fast-paced team setting with multiple demands
- Good communication skills (English speaking, preferably with some Vietnamese)
- Problem solving skills concerning medications and Pharmacy software (Kroll experience preferred)
- Shows initiative and sound judgement when interacting with patients
We are located in Ottawa's Chinatown, with mainly Vietnamese and English-speaking clientele. The
pharmacy mainly deals with prescribed medications and a small OTC inventory at the front. Easily
accessible via highway and/or public transportation.
