U of T ranked among the world’s best across 32 subjects by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy

The latest subject ranking by the independent Shanghai Ranking Consultancy placed U of T in the top 10 globally in eight subjects: sociology (4^th); medical technology (6^th); psychology (7^th); pharmacy and pharmaceutical science (8^th); education (10^th); finance (10^th); public health (10^th); and statistics (10^th). 

Moreover, U of T was among a handful of elite schools that ranked in the top 25 for 21 different subjects – an achievement matched only by the University of California, Berkeley, Harvard University, University of Michigan, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Oxford, Stanford University and Tsinghua University.
