Job Description
- Note: The newly hired pharmacist will almost always partner with another pharmacist(s)
- Lots of technician help available as part of larger team
- Check prescriptions for accuracy
- Participate in data entry into Kroll for dispensing
- Providing pharmaceutical care (not limited to: counselling OTC and prescription medications, advising on health management, collaborating with other health care professionals to resolve and document drug interactions etc.)
- Vaccinate for COVID, flu shots etc.
- Wages are notably competitive and commensurate with experience
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience
- Be a licensed pharmacist in Ontario in good standing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be fluent in spoken Cantonese. Mandarin is a bonus.
- Ability to work in and solve problems in fast paced environment with rest of the pharmacy team
- Exceptional customer service
- Computer proficiency
- Experience in retail pharmacy and with Kroll preferred
- Salary will be competitive/higher than chain stores due to increased scope of practice at an independent
