Marcia McLean is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream and Academic Lead Experiential Education, Professional Programs. Marcia graduated from the University of Toronto where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. She later graduated from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto with a Master of Public Health degree. Marcia practiced as a clinical pharmacist at Mount Sinai Hospital, with a focus in oncology, and was involved in a number of initiatives including the safe prescribing of chemotherapy, patient education, and quality improvement.

She co-coordinates the third-year Health Systems course and is a Course Coordinator for APPE and EPE2 courses. Her areas of interest include experiential education, the appropriate use of medicines, quality in health care and factors affecting health system capacity.
