Assistant Professor Ferrara has nearly 30 years of experience in community pharmacy, with 15 years as a preceptor to pharmacy students. She joined the Faculty in 2018 as a clinical instructor, contributing to medication therapy management one, two, three, and four.

Assistant Professor Ferrara is the co-lead for Experiential Education (Year One) for the new three-year Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum. In this position, she has designed a longitudinal experiential course for first-year students in the three-year program that allows students to connect their knowledge and skills to real-world situations early on in their pharmacy journey.
