The Center for Practice Excellence would like to announce a new funding opportunity at the University of Toronto.

FUNDING DETAILS
The Council of Health Science (CHS) COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Research Springboard Funding aims to fund new or emerging research that has the potential to achieve national and international attention in areas related to COVID-19 vaccination delivery and uptake, including the role of health care providers in supporting and leading population health outcomes regarding vaccinations.

The fund will support any research related to COVID-19 Vaccine delivery and uptake but will prioritize research carried out across the University of Toronto partner clinic initiatives (i.e., the UHN-University of Toronto COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic and mobile/pop-up clinics, Tri-Campuses including UTM and UTSC). Applications will be accepted from individual investigators or from teams. Applications from teams that include representatives from more than one discipline will be given priority.

FUNDING ENVELOPE
The funding envelope available is:

  • $ 30,000 one time funding from the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy
  • $ 30,000 one time funding from the Temerty Faculty of Medicine
  • $ 30,000 one time funding from the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing
  • $ 30,000 one time funding from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health

Half of the funds supplied by a specific Faculty/School ($15,000) will be allotted to investigators from that Faculty/School. The other half of the funds supplied will be open to any investigator across the Faculties/School represented on the Council of Health Sciences (nursing, dentistry, kinesiology and physical education, medicine, pharmacy, public health, social work).

The maximum grant value per application is $15,000.
