Academic Detailing and Knowledge Translation: Opportunities for Pharmacists

The Centre for Effective Practice (CEP) is one of the largest independent knowledge translation organizations for primary care in Canada. Products and services from CEP include free clinical practice tools, the COVID-19 resource centre, and in Ontario, a pharmacist-led academic detailing service for family physicians and nurse practitioners. Academic detailing involves tailored, 1-on-1, unbiased, evidence-informed medical education to support best practices. In this session, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about how pharmacists at CEP are able to leverage practice tools and academic detailing to make a huge impact on clinical practice.
