Assistant Professor Tilli (she/her) completed her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Toronto and a hospital pharmacy residency at St. Michael’s Hospital. She is currently completing a Master of Science in Evidence-Based Healthcare (Teaching & Education) at the University of Oxford. She maintains a clinical practice, focused on chronic pain management, with Rehabilitation Pain Service at UHN’s Toronto Rehabilitation Institute.
Joining the faculty in 2019, Professor Tilli has been a course co-coordinator in the Entry-to-Practice PharmD program as well as the International Pharmacy Graduate (IPG) program. She has taught several of the Medication Therapy Management courses and is involved in the PPSS/Skills courses in the Three-Year PharmD program. She also provides support to preceptors and students completing Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) Rotations. She serves as a member of the Pharmacy Admissions Team, the Young Alumni Committee, and the PharmaSEE Mentorship Program.
Professor Tilli is passionate about the pharmacist’s role in health promotion and making healthcare more accessible for members of marginalized communities. In her past role as a Clinical Pharmacist and Lecturer at the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, she worked closely with the First Nations Health Authority to provide care to First Nations clients living in rural and remote communities as well as to develop the province’s first pharmacy-specific cultural safety and humility modules for practicing pharmacy team members.
