Dr. Rahim Rezaie is Adjunct Lecturer at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy and Executive Director of the Institute for Collaborative Innovation (ICI), a Canadian think-tank that promotes citizen-centred innovation. His work at ICI focuses on connecting national innovation policy with citizen needs, leveraging data analytics to inform government decision-making, and empowering youth and other citizens to shape government policy.

He holds a multidisciplinary PhD in Health Technology Innovation and a Master of Biotechnology degree from the University of Toronto and has about 20 years of research and policy experience at the intersection of pharmaceutical & biotech innovation, global health, and innovation policy. His academic and professional work has examined innovation systems in emerging economies, with a particular focus on how domestic enterprises in China, India, and Brazil develop and commercialize health technologies.

Dr. Rezaie is interested to participate in teaching, research, and graduate student supervision activities and invites colleagues to reach out where his expertise can be supportive.
