PharmD student award recipients at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy’s annual Undergraduate Student Awards Ceremony, held in the Great Hall at Hart House.
On World Pharmacists Day, September 25, the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy celebrated its Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) students at the annual Undergraduate Student Awards Ceremony, held in the historic Great Hall at Hart House, University of Toronto.
The event brought together faculty, students, alumni and donors to honour academic excellence, leadership and community involvement. It was an inspiring evening that highlighted the hard work and dedication of students committed to advancing the profession of pharmacy.
This year marked the inaugural presentation of the Robyn Knight (Fazel) & John Connelly – 0T3 Class Award, honouring classmates remembered for their kindness and community spirit. The ceremony also featured the first awarding of the Class of 7T3 Award, celebrating the continued generosity and legacy of pharmacy alumni.
During the ceremony, Miral Bunha, president of the Undergraduate Pharmacy Society and a student award recipient, shared remarks about the lasting impact of donor support, saying, “It’s such a wonderful feeling to know there are people invested in our journeys, our futures and our growth — so much so that they’ve found ways to support future generations of students even after graduation.”

The ceremony was filled with meaningful full-circle moments — a reminder of the shared purpose that connects the Faculty community in supporting and celebrating the next generation of pharmacy leaders.
