An alumnus of the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, Ned holds a Masters (0T7) and PhD (1T2) from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Ned continues to engage closely with the Faculty as a long-standing member of the Dean’s Advisory Council. Ned has also made significant contributions to educating pharmacists of the future as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program for over 10 years.

As Leader-in-Residence (2024-2025), Ned focused on developing practical and actionable ways to bridge academic and private sector knowledge. He worked closely with Associate Professor Mina Tadrous, who served as the LiR Faculty Sponsor. Ned centered his term on developing an engagement plan to support Spring 2026 launch of the Toronto Centre for Real World Evidence. The goal of the Centre is to leverage real-world evidence to assess medication use and safety and accelerate access to new medications. Ned’s expertise in stakeholder relations, health policy, and strategic planning played a key role in sharpening the Centre’s value proposition, identifying initial priority areas, and mapping key knowledge users to enable effective private sector engagement. Ned also led efforts to build out the internal capacity needed to support meaningful industry partnerships. Ned contributed to our Faculty community by delivering guest lectures across courses and student-facing events. His sessions explored career pathways, drug reimbursement and payment systems, and the role of evidence in real-world decision-making – reflecting his commitment to giving back to his alma mater.
