Program Requirements


Pharmaceutical Sciences offers research-intensive programs of study in a wide range of areas leading to Master's and Doctoral degrees. The programs encompass all aspects of the delivery, development, administration and utilization of therapeutic drugs and provide a stimulating and productive environment for graduate education and research.

Graduate students may participate in a wide variety of Collaborative Programs offered at the University of Toronto.

Students can also participate in the Industrial Internship program, which provides the opportunity to gain experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech company.

Graduate Supervision

SGS has published a document titled Guidelines for Students, Faculty, and Administrators that students and supervisors are encouraged to read. Included in the document is a supervisory checklist for students. SGS has also recently added a supervisory checklist for supervisors, which was not in the original document.
